- Booking and Payment: A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to secure a booking, with the balance due 30 days before the safari starts. Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card.
- Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your safari, you must do so in writing. The following cancellation fees will apply:
- 60 days or more before the safari starts: 10% of the total safari cost
- 30-59 days before the safari starts: 25% of the total safari cost
- 15-29 days before the safari starts: 50% of the total safari cost
- Less than 15 days before the safari starts: 100% of the total safari cost
- Travel Insurance: It is a condition of booking that all clients have comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical expenses, and repatriation in case of illness or accident.
- Health: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they are in good health and fit to undertake the safari. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be declared before booking.
- Passports and Visas: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have a valid passport and any necessary visas to enter Tanzania.
- Changes to Itinerary: Tanzania Freedom Tour reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or other factors beyond our control.
- Accommodation: Accommodation is provided on a twin-sharing basis unless a single room supplement has been paid. Tanzania Freedom Tour reserves the right to substitute accommodation of a similar standard if necessary.
- Safari Vehicles: All safari vehicles are fitted with seat belts and are regularly serviced and maintained. Tanzania Freedom Tour reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of a similar standard if necessary.
- Liability: Tanzania Freedom Tour is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by clients during the safari. Clients are advised to take care of their personal belongings at all times.
- Disputes: Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions or the safari itself shall be governed by Tanzanian law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tanzanian courts.
