Cancellations must be made in writing and are effective upon receipt by Tanzania Freedom Tour. If a booking is canceled more than 60 days before departure, the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations made between 60 to 30 days before departure will incur a charge of 50% of the total tour cost. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of departure, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged.
3. Alteration of Itinerary
Tanzania Freedom Tour reserves the right to alter itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other factors beyond our control. Any changes made will aim to maintain the quality and integrity of the tour. In such cases, no refunds will be provided, but we will endeavor to offer alternative arrangements of equal or greater value.
4. Travel Insurance
It is mandatory for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, delays, personal liability, and loss of personal belongings. Tanzania Freedom Tour is not liable for any costs incurred due to the failure to obtain adequate insurance coverage. Proof of insurance may be required before the tour begins.
5. Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physically fit to participate in the tour. Tanzania Freedom Tour reserves the right to decline participation to any individual who is deemed unfit for the activities included in the itinerary. We also encourage clients to seek medical advice before travel, particularly for high-altitude treks or safaris that involve significant physical exertion.
6. Liability & Responsibility
While Tanzania Freedom Tour takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients, we cannot be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, or losses that may occur during the tour. Our liability is limited to the cost of the tour package, and we do not accept liability for any force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or transportation strikes.
7. Visas & Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure they have the necessary visas and travel documents required for entry into Tanzania and any other destinations included in the tour. Tanzania Freedom Tour will provide guidance on visa requirements, but we are not responsible for any delays, refusals, or issues related to visa applications. Failure to obtain the correct documents may result in the cancellation of the tour without a refund.
8. Client Conduct
Clients are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful to the local culture, wildlife, and fellow travelers. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or harmful may result in the termination of the tour for the offending individual(s) without a refund. Tanzania Freedom Tour also reserves the right to recover any costs incurred due to damage or disruption caused by a client’s behavior.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. In the event of any disputes arising from the booking or participation in a tour, both parties agree to first seek resolution through amicable negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be referred to arbitration in accordance with Tanzanian law. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding.
